Until now, I haven't really given much kudos to Social Media marketing, but of course, that is only due to the fact that I simply cannot create a Social Media profile for every company that I have ever created a site for. I simply wouldn't have the time to cover all bases properly, and Social Media is really one of those things that should be left for the company involved to cover for themselves. As they are the ones that know their business best, and exactly how they would like to be portrayed.
An image such as a website, is one thing, being a spokesperson for a company is another "kettle of fish".
Having said all of that, even one Social media identity is quite the time burner, it's simply a very time consuming job.
Twitter is the new kid on the block, it's the talk of the town. The very fact that the opportunity is there to keep a line of communication open with your potential clients is really really cool.
I don't know about you, but when I started playing with twitter, and the hours that I had spent on it hit critical mass, I was thinking that there MUST be a better way.
And there is.
TweetAttacks
This is a great tool that can really automate the way you do things on twitter.
Do you want the benefits of having twitter followers and an open line to your potential customers, without the huge time sink that it inevitably creates? Of course you do.
TweetAttacks, can be set to run in the background, while you're away from the computer, in a meeting, reading the paper. You can set it to do whatever and whenever.
Follow and Unfollow
This is the "bain of it's existance" right? Yep, I hate following all those that have started following me, I hate having to go through my list manually and dumping anyone who doesn't follow me back. I want a big list of followers, without the tag-a-longs that are never going to read my tweets.
You can do this easily in TweetAttacks.
You can:
Follow from user's followers
Follow from user's following
Follow from user's lists
Follow users that mention keywords in their tweets
Unfollow users who don't follow you back (who doesn't need this feature?)
Unfollow users who don't follow you back after a certain number of days
Protect certain users from being unfollowed even if they don't follow you back
Avoid all of the Marketers
Another one of those annoyances in Twitter. Don't you just want all of those marketers to stay off of your list? I know I do. The only reason that they are there, and add you to their follow list, is because they are hoping you will then follow them and become a client of theirs.
With TweetAttacks, you can:
Ignor users with no picture
Ignor tweets that contain links
Ignor tweets not posted from the web
That's a massive amount of spammers and marketers you can avoid, just by clicking a few checkboxes in the software.
Gaining Targeted Followers
Everybody has always presumed that Twitter is simply a mass of untargeted people, and that you can only drive unrelated traffic to your site from it.
Wrong!
You can create very very targeted lists by using this. For example, you can use twitter's advanced search features including location and geo targetting. Now that is cool!

Bottom Line
The bottom line here, I suppose is, that if you really want to build a niche targetted follow list, that will allow you to blast your messages to thousands of potential customers and clients, you need this tool.
Don't just take my word on it, try it out free. Yep, they've got a free version that allows minimal functionality, but you know what? For what it does, and the time you will save in your day, the total price of the Pro software is totally worth it too.
