Ok, Ive done a little redesigning of the Freebird site.

Most changes have been somewhat cosmetic, however there is also now the additional functionality, to be able to download a file when subscribing to a newsletter, mostly for my up-coming .NET applications that I am going to release or have already released.

Some will be products that you can purchase (at a later date) but most will remain as Freebies, however of course I need your email addresses to inform you of any changes or updates that I make to the apps.

You'll notice that I have put in a new funky javascript slider on the front page, and banners across most pages, in keeping with the new design.
The footer of the site has also had an overhaul. Oh, and I've also added drop down functionality to the top menu, so that I can add pages without effecting the look and feel of the site.

Sometimes the search engines just don't come around often enough, to update your website's listing, so pinging services were created.

I've just packaged up a pinging tool that I've been using for some time, and made it available for FREE for all of you.

What it does is lets various pinging services and therefore the big search engines know that a change has occured on your website, and they need to come and check out the latest changes, in order to update their listings.

This tool is a windows application, so it does require the .NET framework, but that is very easy to download and it is also free.

Over the quiet Easter weekend, we launched the Ozbus Business Directory in an effort to implement it without disturbance to any visitors.

The launch was a success and all was smooth sailing.

There have been a few listings after the launch and we are proud to say that everything is operating as it should.
